Kurt got a Job

I know this might be kind of weird for me to blog about my twin brother getting a new job, but I am so excited for him. He may not know how much time I have spent trying to help him find a job or how much I have prayed or put his name in the temple for him to get a "real" career oriented job, but I haved spent some time. I love my brother so much! He has taught me what it truly mean to be patient and hardworking at the same time. He took on two dead end jobs and worked, many weeks over 50 hours to provide what he could for him and his wife.

I had signed up for job postings from the state of Idaho to be sent to my email inbox in hopes of finding myself a better job. I decided that i might as well also get the postings for video and media so that if there was a job opening I could send it to Kurt. I recieved a job posting that I thought Kurt should look at in Idaho Falls. It would have been great to have him close by. Unfortunately he did not qualify for the job. I few weeks or days later, I can't remember, I saw another job posting in a city in Idaho that is about 3 hours away with roughly the same job description. I sent him that post. At this point, Kurt had signed up for the job postings to go to his inbox so he already saw the posting. He made some minor corrections to his application and recieved a near perfect score, a few weeks later he got a job offer and took the job. I am so relieved and I am sure him and his wife are too, to be able to have a "real" job.

I look forward to when I get out of school in a few years and can get a "real" job too.

The reason I write about this situation is because I feel that I have learned so much about patience, prayer, and waiting on the Lord's time. What a great example my brother has always been to me. I feel a closeness to him at times like this when, unknown to him he is one of my greatest teachers.
